Information Technology Services (ITS) is a unit under the office of the Vice-chancellor that serves as the University’s window to the 21st century world which is Information and Communication Technology (ICT) driven. ITS, which transformed from Computer Centre; Management Information System; Nigerian Universities Network (NUNet); Center for Research and Development of Information Technology (CREDIT); Information and Communication Technology Centre (ICTC) and now Information Technology Services. The unit is currently headed by Professor Adamu A. Mohammed as the Director. ITS comprised three (3) key subunits namely: Training, Network and Management Information (MIS). There are 29 senior staff comprising experts in software development, Certified ICT Instructors and network and system Engineers. Senior staff are supported by 12 technical staff to run and undertake proper service delivery and maintenance of the university ICT infrastructures


To initiate, design, and execute sustainable Information and Communication Technology projects and programmes that will ensure that every aspect of academics and administrative activities of the university is driven by ICT.


To become a reference point for excellence in Information Communication Technology services amongst peers in West African Universities.
