Engr. Bala Alhaji Salihu (PhD) completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Minna in 2004, graduating with second-class honours (upper division). He pursued a Master’s degree in Communication Engineering at the same university and obtained it in 2011. He furthered his studies and earned a PhD in Information Communication System Engineering from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China.

In 2006, he commenced his career as an Assistance Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria. Subsequently, in 2010, he transferred to the Telecommunication Engineering department. His research interests encompass wireless communication, Network Management Systems (NMS), radio resource management in LTE-Advanced, and human space exploration.

Engr. Bala Alhaji Salihu is a certified Engineer and holds memberships in several professional organizations, including the Nigeria Society of Engineers (MNSE), Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (RCoREN), and the International Association of Engineers(MIAEng), as well as being a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (MIEEE).

He is a certified Huawei Instructor and holds professional certifications in Huawei  for : HICIA, HCIP and also ICDL.
